What You'll Do/Need

The Security Technology Site Manager is responsible for installing and implementing security and access control procedures, hardware and software, at their assigned site of operation, as well as project management and systems integration and training. As part of the Rock Security team, the Security Technology Site Manager must be flexible in assignment locations and times, and be available for assignments away from their normally assigned site of operation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and review of the design of security systems and their implementation, while providing 24/7 support
  • Work with the Security Team Leader assigned to the site of operation to provide project management, direction and innovation in the areas of strategic planning, risk assessment, technology enhancements and configuration control of security systems
  • Oversee the visitor and vendor process as it relates to allowing access control, manage the access control software system, act as the database manager and provide 24/7 support
  • Identify, qualify, manage and develop relationships with contractors and subcontractors
  • Communicate with Team Leader and contribute with recommendations for improvements for security measures onsite
  • Prepare proposals for new systems, and existing system additions or alterations
  • Document how systems are designed and implemented
  • Create training material for the end user

Requirements

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a focus on Electrical Engineering or related field and/or experience in one of the following categories: security, technology, networking and application tech support
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in the security or related industry
  • Ability to work with and understand computer programs and systems such as Access Control, Bosch Alarm System, Microsoft Office products and Milestone VMS
  • Understand network architecture
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to bring together multiple disciplines in technology, construction and supporting vendors; manage those relationships and facilitate proactive and positive communication and results
  • Embody integrity, professionalism and high ethical standards
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Exercise sound operational judgement and adapt to various priorities and challenges
  • Ability to work at various times and locations, including designated site of operation, Rock Security Headquarters and other sites
