What You'll Do/Need

Quicken Loans is changing the way people think about, obtain, and service their homes, mortgages and financial life. We are currently seeking a Vice President of Business and Product Strategy to drive innovation and lead us to the next level. As a key member of our team, you will assist in creating the overall strategic direction of the company and will be responsible for key strategies driving acquisition and retention of customers. This leader will be a major influencer of business and product vision, decide what should be built, and will communicate the business strategy to the rest of the companyThe candidate will work very closely with the Executive team and partner with an organically agile development organization. The position requires business acumen to include knowledge of marketing, research, product development, technology, finance, and public relations with experience in commercial, residential and wholesale markets. 




  • Your team's primary responsibility will be the overall success of our FinTech product portfolio as well as setting and executing its strategy
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization to drive competitive advantage and enable significant market share growth
  • Develop, deliver and commission best-in-class customer experience and providing answers to the most important questions facing our organization
  • To form strategy, your team will work closely with other functional leaders to gather information from a variety of sources: customer feedback, sales data, internal and external customer's website traffic patterns, user behavior, competitive market analysis, market research, etc.
  • This individual will be knowledgeable about industry trends and will integrate advances into our products and our portfolio strategy
  • You'll influence major cross-functional efforts that pull together teams of market researchers, product managers, UX specialists, UX designers, and content strategists and unite them with team members from such departments as Banking, Operations, Fulfillment, Marketing and more
  • You'll measure the success of our product portfolio through business responsibility for generating results, achieving our revenue growth plan, customer retention goals, and strong CSAT levels, etc.
  • Help provide inspirational leadership and help nurture a cohesive, supportive, and highly effective team
  • Partner with Business leads to crystallize desired business outcomes and return on investment; interrogate solutions to generate hypotheses and uncover insights that will increase the effectiveness of each new iteration of the work
  • Oversee enterprise journey maps and the design of connected experiences that facilitate behavior change
  • Target behaviors and understand motivational drivers of behavior that will result in more effective strategies
  • Manage capabilities of the team to develop and maintain a long-term view; ensure there are adequate resources and tools, and is responsible for maintaining and improving the team’s knowledge and expertise




  • Ten years of experience in leading marketing and/or digital product management with success in meeting budgets and timelines for a division or operation unit of a customer centric business.
  • Minimum of five years of executive management experience
  • Strategic Formulation: The ability to see the totality of the business in its competitive context and realistically identify, translate and prioritize the strategic decisions
  • Change Management: Understanding the stresses and risks inherent in significant organizational change and mobilize the organization behind the change objective, clearly articulating the nature of the desired change, preparing people for the new requirements placed upon them and reinforcing the message until the change is adopted
  • Analytics: Knowledge of Market Share concepts, Propensity Models, and model development.
  • Experience with large-scale consumer and internal user technology products – web and mobile apps
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • This position is located in Detroit, MI
